GET LOST THIS WINTER
Overlooking a frozen lake in the depth of the Canadian winter, it's amazing how all the noise of the city slips away. The endless winter stretches out for miles in every direction. Day after day I woke up, in -24c temperatures surrounded by pristine snow and glistening forests, and I knew I had to start writing an album to capture that feeling.
This winter take an adventure through the holiday season with Jack Shaw’s brand new album Polar - A Christmas Adventure. Featuring 10 original holiday songs and 2 of his favorite covers. Sprinkled throughout with textures of winter, nostalgia, and tales of love and loss, this album transports you to a winter wilderness. Set in the Canadian Rockies and the arctic north this album was written and recorded from Jack's personal experiences of living in the great white north.

WHAT IS DEAD MAY NEVER DIE"

When you listen to my songs you’ll hear elements of rock, rave, and grime sounds – I don’t define myself by genre but the music I’m making now definitely has a pop sensibility”.
Jack’s eclecticism is reflected in his musical tastes, with influences as diverse as Lauryn Hill, Jon Bellion and Santana. This diverse musical sound has garnered praise from Complex Magazine, Radio 1 DJ David Rodigan, Radio 6's Tom Robinson and BBC Introducing Channels across the UK.
